Annex III. Inspection Procedures Under Decision 18
(1) Video recording of the following shall be directly conducted at the operating site for each
machinery and technological line.
˝ Nameplate
˞ Overall appearance
˟ Dimensions
ˠ Internal parts comprised of machinery
ˡ Performance test
ˢ Check of electrical characteristics
ˣ Any other inspection required
(2) Inspector of KAIRI and the person in charge of inspection request organization shall witness
together video recording at head office of inspection request organization and review of
operation manual, quality records, etc.
3.4 Inspection Process of used machinery, equipment and technological lines
The inspector shall be following the processes for each case to obtain necessary technical information
which shall be included in the Inspection Certificate.
3.4.1 Technological Line
(1) Identify applicable Regulations and/or Standards of QCVN, TCVN, G7 countries, Korea or
equivalents on safety, energy saving, and environmental protection for inspection.
In case of integrated line and assembling line, to prove if the line is manufactured with QCVN,
TCVN, G7 countries, Korea regarding safety, energy saving, and environmental protection, at

least, the manufacturer should hold manufacturer certificate issued by inspection body or decla
ration of conformity (D of C) issued by manufacturer himself conforms with the provisions of
Foodstuffs machinery/equipment and machinery/equipment for cosmetics
the QCVN, TCVN, G7 countries, Korea regarding safety, energy saving, and environmental
or pharmaceutical products

Is there instruction to avoid any risk of infection, sickness or contagion?
Instruction indicates recommended products and methods for cleaning, 99
disinfecting, and rinsing?
Portable hand-held and/or hand-guided machinery or equipment
Have a sufficient number of handles and supports of an appropriate size to
ensure the stability of the machinery or equipment under operation condition?
Is the information concerning vibrations transmitted by portable hand-held
machinery mentioned?
Machinery for working wood and material with similar physical characteristics
Can the piece being machined or of equipment be placed and guided in safety,
involving the risk of ejection of workpiece?
Is an automatic brake equipped with, that stops the tool in a sufficiently short time
if there is a risk of contact with the tool?
Supplementary essential health and safety requirements to offset hazards due
to the mobility of machinery
Is driving position, seating, positions for other persons provided in complete
safety condition?
For control systems:
- remote control is provided?
- all control devices are able to be actuated from the driving position?
- acoustic /visual warning signal is applied, in case of reversing?
- starting/moving, travelling function is possible?
- movement of pedestrian-controlled machinery is possible?
Protection against mechanical hazards;
- moving transmission parts
- roll-over and tip-over
- falling objects
- means of access
- towing devices
Protection against other hazards;
- battery
- fire
- emissions of hazardous substances
Information and indications are informed regarding signs, marking and warnings?

Protection against mechanical hazards

- pulleys, drums, wheels, ropes and chains
- lifting accessories and their components

Protection against risks to persons in or on the carrier, due to the lifting of person
