Annex III. Inspection Procedures Under Decision 18

3.4.3 Cases of Exceeding Age Limits

(1) Inspector shall obtain the information as following:

˝ Name, Brand, Model: Inquiry and affiliated documents from the Enterprise

˞ Manufacturing year, Name of country of Origin, and Name of Manufacturer: Nameplate,

Catalog, Record finding through distribution processing and other recognizable ways.

˟ Status of the inspected Machinery/equipment: Operation of Machinery at site.

(2) Confirm the Maintenance of Machinery/equipment

˝ Check the status of painting, marking, corrosion, leakage, and other defects of appearance;

˞ Check whether the parts be set appropriately into Machinery/equipment with comparison
to design or catalog or other specifics to prove Machinery structure.

(3) Identify applicable Regulations and/or Standards of QCVN, TCVN, G7 countries, Korea
or equivalents on safety, energy saving, and environmental protection.

(4) Confirm the Remaining Capacity or Performance

Check whether the used machinery and equipment can produce or achieve at least 85% of
products or performance in a given time with comparison to its design capacity or
performance.

(5) Confirm the number of raw materials or the rate of energy consumption

Check machinery whether used machinery and equipment consume its resource not exceeing
15% of its design consumption level.
