- For single-phase voltage use
Power consumption (thermal losses) is calculated using min. operating power minus mul-
tiplication of actual measured amperage & voltage for each equipment. (P_1 = VI cos φ)
And the rate of energy consumption is based on power consumption (thermal losses) divid-
ed by min. operation power requirement (min. design consumption level). Generally,
power factor (φ) is 1.0 which is applied for single-phase voltage use.
* For unit conversion (KW-> KVA), power factor shall be applied for calculation (kW/φ
= kVA)
* Calibration certificate of measuring instrument shall be traced to inspection certificate.
˞ In case of Raw Material Consumption
The difference between designed and actual input of raw material is calculated for raw material
consumption. And the rate of raw material consumption is based on raw material
consumption divided by design input of raw material.

(6) Confirm whether technologies of the technological line must not be on the List of technologies
prohibited or restricted from transferring promulgated under the Vietnamese Government’s
Decree No. 76/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018. At the commencement of the inspection,
Inspector should notify to Enterprise that if Enterprise have prohibited technologies without
consciously or unconsciously, the exportation of line to Vietnam shall be banned and whole
responsibility shall be put on to Enterprise. When Inspector becomes aware of the prohibited
technologies, the inspection process should be withheld.
(7) Confirm whether technology of the line is being applied by at least 3 (three) manufacturers
of member countries of OECD.
