3.4.2 Used machinery and equipment

(1) Identify applicable Regulations and/or Standards of QCVN, TCVN, G7 countries, Korea or
equivalents on safety, energy saving, and environmental protection for inspection.

In case of machinery or equipment, to prove if the machinery or equipment is manufactured
with QCVN, TCVN, G7 countries, Korea regarding safety, energy saving, and environmental

protection, at least, the manufacturer should hold manufacturer certificate issued by inspection
body or declaration of conformity (D of C) issued by manufacturer himself conforms with the
provisions of the QCVN, TCVN, G7 countries, Korea regarding safety, energy saving and
environmental protection.

(2) Inspector shall obtain the information as following:

˝ Check whether technological line is operated according to a technological process or

diagram to ensure synchronous operation serving manufacturing.

˞ Manufacturing year, Name of country of Origin, and Name of Manufacturer: Nameplate,
Operation Manual, Record finding through distribution processing and other recognizable
ways.

(3) Confirm the age of Used machinery and equipment

˝ In case of within 10 years of manufacturing, follow the above (1) and (2)

˞ In case of over 10 years of manufacturing, check the below:

* Confirm Used machinery and equipment would be categorized in the list of the
Appendix I enclosed with the Decision.

* If Machinery is over 10 years and placed out of the Appendix I of the Decision, follow

the para. 7.4.3 below.

(4) Sampling Test

In a situation where the inspection is inevitable according to environmental cause like packing,

repairing work, etc., at least, half of a quantity under the same model shall be prepared with
unpacked and inspection shall be unconditionally performed at Enterprise site for sampling test.
