Inspection Procedures Under Decision 18

INSPECTION PROCEDURES UN0

1. General Requirement

(1) Pre-Inspection meeting

Simple subjects such as Inspection schedule, and preparation of inspection/documents could
be discussed by phone. Pre-Inspection meeting may be hold when subjects to be discussed are

complex and numerous, and there shall be meeting minutes.

(2) Review of documents

The certifications, operating manual/instructions performance test report, catalog, technical
construction files, and etc. shall be reviewed. It shall be informed to the customer that the
documents shall be in English.

(3) Verification of identification mark

˝ Inspector shall verify that the information on the nameplate or identification mark matches
that of the certificates or operation manual/instructions.

˞ Inspector shall verify that the specifications of the parts match those of the certificates,
or etc.

(4) Performance Test
If several Machinery, Equipment & Technological Lines of the same specification are subject
to inspection, Performance test shall be carried out on all of those. Inspector shall verify
following:

˝ Whether operating normally or not

˞ Whether safety devices and system are operating or not

- When verifying conformity in accordance with standards of G7 countries to the Machinery,
Equipment & Technological Lines applied CE Mark, the General Essential Health and
