Annex III. Inspection Procedures Under Decision 18

Safety Requirements described in Annex I of the EC Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
shall be applied for every machinery,

- And Supplementary Essential health and safety requirements may be applied additionally

to the individual machinery or equipment with specific hazards.

ˠ Leakage of oil

ˡ External damages

ˢ Whether the power specified in the manual or certificates is used or not

2. Preparation of inspection

(1) Inspector shall verify the types and characteristics of Machinery, Equipment & Technological
Lines, and verify whether inspection standards, procedures, methods, or customer
requirements are met.

(2) Before carrying out inspection activities, Inspector shall verify followings to the customer.

˝ Current status and shipping schedule of the items

˞ Presence of previous performance test report or quality/technical documents

˟ Possibility of operation/performance inspection

ˠ Safety of workplace

ˡ Inspection Schedule

3. Carrying out inspection activities

(1) Inspector shall carry out inspection activities in accordance with relevant inspection procedures.

After receipt of the IWO, Inspector shall learn about requirements, relevant regulations,
guideline, and etc. of inspection on the items.
