Equipment Import Regulations of Viet Nam for K-V Investment Promotion

* The numbers are correspondent to each points of Clause 1 Article 10 as follows: ˝, ˞, ˟ to point a),
ˠ to b), ˡ to c), ˢ, ˣ, ˤ to d), and ˥ to đ(dd)).

* The number ˢ is that Designated Inspection Body records in the inspection certificate according to
the inspection method or process recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology Vietnam.

* The number ˝ to ˥ are existing provisions prescribed in Clause 1 Article 10 of Decision 18, while
the number ˦ to ˨ have been effective since January 22, 2021, by the Ministry of Science and
Technology Vietnam.

* Even in the case of the entrusted import, the above information should be registered in the inspection
certificate and the documents.

Inspector should issue the certificate through the evaluations and assessment of each

criterion specified in Clause 1-5 Article 5 whether the used technological line satisfies the
requirement in Article 5 according to point đ(dd)) Article 10 of Decision 18.

G7.2 Import Procedures

An inspection certificate should be presented to a customs authority before the technologi-
cal lines would arrive at a port in Vietnam.

The inspection certificate for submitting documents to the customs authority should be
issued by Designated Inspection Body. The contents of the certificate are the same as the

number ˝ to ˨ of G7.1 hereof.

B. Documentation and Procedures for Importing Used Machinery and
Equipment

Article 8 basically requires that used machinery and equipment meet the criteria in Article 6, while
emphasizing the storage of the machinery for 30 working days if the manufacturer’s certification or
inspection certificate for the import documents does not meet the provisions of Article 6.
