                                            CONCLUSION

   •  CECU significantly inhibits the growth, colony formation, and invasion of HeLa cells via induction of G2/M phase cell cycle arrest and
      apoptosis in a ROS-independent manner.
   •  CECU also suppresses the growth and sphere formation of HeLa cancer stem-like cells (CSCs).
   •  Therefore, our results demonstrate the anticancer potential of Citrus unshiu Markovich peel for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.
