- The reason for import is inconsistent with the declaration.

Example: An enterprise importing machinery and equipment, for the reason of replacing some
machinery and equipment in the current production line, declares the import according to Article 6 to
be put into storage. According to the regulations, if the machinery and equipment are stored, when

installed, they must notify the Customs before conducting the inspection. However, the enterprise did
not notify the Customs before conducting the inspection at the warehouse. Through the actual inspection,
the age of entire machinery and equipment is more than 10 years, it is impossible to measure energy
consumption, design performance and the number of machines and equipment is very large, not
suitable for the reason of replacing machines and equipment for existing production lines.
