The development of high-throughput genomic technology has affected many areas of genetic research. While many
applications of these technologies have focused on the discovery of disease-related genes in the population sample,
applying genetic technology to an individual's genome or individual genomics has recently gained much attention.
One such application is identifying relatives in genetic data. In this application, genetic information of existing
individuals is collected in the database, and each pair of individuals is compared to identify their genetic relatives.
The essential problem with identifying relatives is privacy. GenoCrypt proposed a way to identify genetic relatives
without compromising privacy by utilizing new customized cryptographic technologies for security and private
comparison of genetic information. This is a safe method to compare genetic information between individuals
without exposing it to others. However, it requires high computing resources. In this research, we improved
GenoCrypt methods so that we achieve similar results while consuming less computing resources.
