Contemporary Scottish artist Claudia Massie took a chance a
couple of years ago when she embarked on a new project that put
a spin on the traditional still-life – her study of roadkill in the area
surrounding her Perthshire home. Her animal studies, Nature
Morte, continue to fascinate, and her current show at Aucherarder’s
Ruthven Gallery comprises new animal works, as well as paintings of
the landscape along the A822 road. Sep –Nov .
