KIDS NEWS
Moon beam
If the kids are too old for a night light, leave it to the moon to watch
over the playroom – Koko Kids’ Moon & Stars wall sticker, that is.
At 55cm across, the sticker is large but easy to work with, as it’s made
from fabric adhesive that can be readily removed, repositioned and
reapplied again and again. Moon & Stars is also very eco-friendly and
free from PVC, vinyl, BPA and phthalates. One small step for man,
one giant leap for the environment. . www.kokokids.com
Mixed bag
With a layer of toys, books and games constantly carpeting the
floor, playroom storage needs to be approached creatively. Think
outside the box. MonPetitZoréol’s reusable storage bags are
handmade in Paris from heavy-duty craft paper and
are available in a range of simple new styles in classic
monochrome, such as the graphic Dot, Plus and
ON THE MOVE Cross designs. . www.scoutandcokids.com
The doll’s-house is a nursery
staple, but not very practical
if children want to carry
it around from room
to room. Enter Studio
ROOF’s Mobile Home.
Its eight red rooms boldly
contrast with its sky-
blue recycled cardboard
exterior. The home comes
with its own handle, along
with a series of spy-holes,
to keep an eye on the
residents. Around

Split personality
Whether friends are sleeping over or space is tight in the nursery, a day bed, part
sofa and part sleeping quarter, is a useful addition. Kalon Studio’s take, in FSC
certified maple, is a pared back option, introducing a subtle band of turquoise as an
accent. Its protective barriers reassure children used to sleeping in a cot and its low-
lying frame is not intimidating to climb onto. . www.cuckooland.com
