G15 Responsibility of Designated Inspection Body
Designated Inspection Body should know each criterion of Decision 18 and relevant
legislative documents, and then perform the inspection.
Designated Inspection Body should inform and give consultation of the implantation
interpretation of Decision 18.
If difficulties arise before, during, or after the inspection under Decision 18, DIB should
consult with and report to MOST for solving the difficulties.
Designated Inspection Body should send an inspection certificate copy within 15 working
days from the signing date of the inspection certificate to MOST, and submit an annual
report by December 15 of the same year and ad hoc reports on the inspection to MOST.
G16 Consultation with Responsible Authorities for the Documentation and Inspection
Enterprise should consult with responsible organizations such as the Vietnamese
customs, MOST Vietnam, or Designated Inspection Body when facing difficulties or
confusions on exporting process. On the inspection certification and process, especially,
Designated Inspection Body could give accurate information based on data of wide and
deep experience or by direct consultation with MOST Vietnam.
