The distance from Dangjin port, Korea to Detroit, USA is about 22,600km and transit time took about
55days. What is a unique about this shipment was that vessel went trough St. Lauren River for entering
Detroit port and distance is approximately 1,700km.

All the shipments were transported by cargo trucks from the manufacturer’s factories to yard of the Godae
Pier where the vessel of M.V. GOTLAND to be lying a oat berthed alongside in Dangjin port, Korea and
were loaded into the speci ed cargo compartments by means of the ship’s cargo gears using suitable cargo
wire rope slings, web-belt slings and round slings with careful handling.

In case of ports at the great lakes, it needs enough time to get out of the great lakes after discharging
especially in the winter time.

Also, after discharging from the vessel, permission for transportation should be acquired in advance,
otherwise, detention could be occurred like a disaster!
