Animals Puppies at a Nursery School
In Korean families, pets are not supposed to be raised together with kids.
Puppies at a Nursery School When a baby is born, the family sends away the family pet. We have started
/ OK Corral an experiment to counter this outdated notion about pets. In one nursery
school, kids play, eat, and nap together with animals. As the children interact
60mins with the pets and learn how to take care of them, they develop empathy
and understanding. A child who loves animals dearly. A child who had a bad
experience with animals. A child who likes animals but is afraid to touch
them. An abandoned dog with an unkempt hair coat will arrive at the nursery
school where the kids will nourish the dog and groom it to provide a complete
makeover into a well-groomed, healthy dog... The dog will find a new owner
and new home. The children will give a tearful farewell to the dog.
