Recently, the number of unauthorized dumping of garbage has been on the rise.
To prevent this phenomenon, the government has been operating a system that
installs closed-circuit television and gives rewards for reporting unauthorized
speculation. However, there are quite a few people who do not pay for dumping
garbage or imposing fines in places where they can't see well. Officials say that
'the various eradication measures will not improve unless citizens change their
minds.
One of the side effects of unauthorized dumping is the creation of a garbage
mountain. A garbage mountain refers to a phenomenon in which illegally dumped
garbage is piled up in the form of a top. Trash mountains are still discovered in
various areas, and people who bring garbages say they will dispose of it and then
throw it away or leave it. About 320 of the garbage mountains found in the past
four years are estimated to be 1.59 million tons.
This year, a total of 100 garbage mountains were created in the first half of the
year. In March last year, CNN reported that the government had promised to deal
with it by the end of last year, but it didn't come true. The reasons are the
saturation of incineration facilities across the country and the blocking of waste
from the Covid-19.

Along with the illegal dumping of garbage, enormous amounts of litter across the
country are creating odors, polluting water and soil, causing damage to residents
in the area. It will result in massive damage to the entire environment and
ecosystem, and the condition of nature will only get worse. Nature does not last
forever. We need to prevent the deterioration of nature as much as possible and
find solutions to it so that there is a little more chance that the environment will
remain in the future.
