The humanity has developed for centuries using natural resources as a

catalyst of industrial revolution. As the industries evolute, the pollution problems were

just treated as some kind of positive phenomenon showing the development degrees of
the revolution. However, on these days due to the massive industry contaminations,

concerns of the environment for both present and future generation are growing bigger

announcing eco - development assuring existence of future generations. We use this

insist of philosopher Hans Jonas, and deep ecologism of Arne Ness as our main theory

background criticizing shallow environmentalism of present day people. As we have

learned, shallow environmentalism is a kind of environmentalism assisting solving

environment contamination through continuous technology development, and managing

natural resources. But, we should know that sometimes attempts to preserve the nature

itself have more potential benefits. In addition, trials to stop the pollution through
development sounds pretty ironic.

This is our poster with the main theme of “We are not the only life.”

You can see the land with the cracks because of the drought. Also, there are several

animal dead bodies decaying showing the flesh, and bones. There is one last tree

symbolizing the last nature, and under the tree there are greedy people colored as black,

putting their hands on their waist showing unashamed attitude. Over the tree, the trash

made by humans such as bottles, banana peels, and bags are falling from the sky. The

last tree is blocking trash, and people down the tree are using the last tree as an

umbrella. This shows the humans’ attitude thinking using nature is their rights ensuring
only their profits, and benefits. Although the tree is the natural resource not much left,
