Hello, we are Kim Yerin and Jo Yujeong, and we will present the

topic of irregular workers in China.

First of all, in this video, the Chinese are called the Ant People who

were born in the '80s as non-regular workers. While searching for
the hidden aspects of Chinese society, we found out about young

people living in poverty even though they graduated from college
and we were curious about it, so we did study it. In the course of
our investigation, we discovered that there was a new term for

them called 窮忙族(qióng máng zú). The UN Poverty Index also
found that 1.3 billion of the world's poor and that poverty was a

common problem not only for China but also for the world to
solve, so we created a poster on this topic. The people in the
poster mean that we should pay attention to the non-regular

workers in need and help them out of poverty. Also, the buildings
in the background represent an advanced society, but they

emphasize that there are still poor people due to irregular workers.
Why did this poverty appear in Chinese society? First of all,
insurance is more expensive than income. The Chinese government

is a policy for non-regular workers, making various insurance
policies for each province. However, due to the poor system of

society, along with the high premiums, The Working Poor are not
benefiting from the policy. Also, the insurance policy is not working
properly. Because social insurance is unnecessary for reality-oriented

people. At the same time, with the growing number of college
graduates in China expected to worsen the country's job shortage,

the number of "The Working Poor" will increase further in the
future, so now is the time to properly protect them.

Therefore, we think the world including China’s government should
ensure that non-regular workers can use social insurance efficiently,
by giving them temporary benefits at the same time as they

subscribe to it. If it becomes possible to switch to full-time
positions afterwards, policies such as providing incentives for small

and medium-sized enterprises, should be implemented.
