Nowadays 87 percent of schools around the world are learning English. It
sounds like using English even though it is not an English speaking country.
Why do we use English instead of our own language? We are learning English
for various reasons that all other people learn English, and when they can
speak English, they succeed and lead to the revival of the country.
Of course, learning English is not negative in itself. By learning English
unconditionally and overusing it, one's own language becomes alienated and
eventually collapses and becomes a problem. We should be wary of social
situations in which our own language is ignored and English is spoken.
Through this poster, we warn of the dangers of language culture around the
world, which is uniformed in English. With English in the middle, we think
English is the most important thing, and this makes English more prominent by
making the language faint around us. In short, it means that English is
gradually eliminating other languages, and we are adapting to such situations.
It's freezing and snooping in New York -- we need global warming! -- and
using dramatic words to criticize the problem of using English in an ironic
way.
This video shows a positive view of globalization. However, contrary to this,
we made the presentation topic about the extinction of culture and the
uniformity of culture as a result of globalization. In that respect, we wanted to
emphasize the problem of uniformity of language and raise awareness.
