“Innovative Education that prepares students for the
future” means empowering our students through
innovative education to prosper in the future as they
lead the era of artificial intelligence amid the 4th
Industrial Revolution. This goes beyond the goal that
we sought to achieve during the first term– “Creative 2
education that cultivates intelligence, compassion,
and humanity”–and summarizes the vision of Seoul Responsible Education that opens up
Education System for the second term– “Innovative,
Future-Oriented Education.” the door to possibilities for all
“Responsible Education that opens up the door to
possibilities for all” represents our commitment to
the realization of justifiable inequality in which no one
gets left behind when it comes to education, as well
as our firm determination to resolve all educational
inequalities under the belief that all students should
be given an equal educational opportunity regardless
of their family background. 3

Democratic Citizenship Education that
advocates peace and co-existence

“Democratic Citizenship Education that advocates
peace and co-existence” demonstrates our aim
to bolster our students’ fundamental capacities to
practice democracy and maintain human dignity in
their daily lives.
