Displaying functional objects as wall art is
not an entirely new concept, but Iittala’s
latest series of Aarre hooks are more
ambigious than most, thoroughly blurring

named after the Finnish word for ‘treasure’,
the hooks are crafted from mouth-blown glass,
and are inspired by the work of glass artist Oiva
Toikka. POA www.iittala.com
