In contrast to typical fabrics made by crossing warp yarns, knitting is a method
of continually connecting loops using either vertical or horizontal threads.
Knitting produces a variety of products based on the weaving method used.
The formation of loops through knitting needle movement enables economical
production as the knitting speed is 3 to 5 times faster than that of fabrics.
Knitting creates high product competitiveness through product diversification,
as many different varieties of flexible yarns can be used such as bulky yarn,
textured yarn, spun yarn, and filament yarn.
