Samchae received its name from the three flavors that it contains: sweet, bitter, and spicy.
In Korea, it is known as a nutritious vegetable with its scientific name being Allium Hookeri.
According to the findings of a study conducted by the National Academy of Sciences of the Rural
Development Administration, Samchae has a variety of health benefits for sugar control, cognitive
improvement, dementia prevention, and cholesterol level control.
It is produced from Korean Samchae grown by a young Korean farmer himself.
