Equipment Import Regulations of Viet Nam for K-V Investment Promotion

CONCLUSIONS
On the basis of our full inspection, information obtained during inspection, and scrutiny of documentation provided by
manufacturer, the used technological line may be imported provided that it satisfies the requirements in table below.

Used technological line which satisfies the following criteria

The manufacturing standard applied to the used technological line is consistent
with the National Technical Regulations (QCVN) with regard to safety, energy
saving, and environmental protection. Or,

The manufacturing standard applied to the used technological line is consistent
with the National Standards (TCVN) of Vietnam or Standards of G7 countries
Conformity or Korea with regard to safety, energy saving, and environmental protection. Or,
to Standard

In case National Technical Regulation (QCVN), National Standard (TCVN) or
national standard of one of G7 countries or Korea with regard to safety, energy
saving, and environmental protection is not available when inspecting used
machinery, equipment or technological line, this content must be specified
in the inspection certificate.

Remaining capacity (which is the number of products that the technological line
Capacity or produces in a given time period) or performance must achieve at least 85%
Performance of its design capacity or performance. (If yes, please write measured figure
on the table additionally)

The amount of raw materials or energy consumed by the technological line
Consumption shall not exceed 15% of its design consumption level. (If yes, please write
measured figure on the table additionally)

Technologies of the technological line to be imported must not be on the List
Technology of technologies prohibited or restricted from transferring promulgated under

the Government’s Decree No. 76/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018.

A technology comprised in the technological line to be imported is being

Technology applied by at least 03 manufacturers of member countries of Organization for
Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The inspection of a used technological line according to criteria in Article 5

Place, etc. hereof must be conducted in the exporting country while the technological
line is operating.

Remarks
The inspection certificate is valid within 18 months from the issuance of Inspection Certificate.
