[Top] The opposite corner of the sitting-room shows off the smart tongue-
                                                                and-groove panelling and the wall of shelving, both of which were built (along
                                                                with hidden cupboards and wardrobes) by Gordon Irving Cabinetmakers,
                                                                whom Lizzie has worked with for    years. Tulip paintings by George Oakes
                                                                and a Georges Cloud angel add interest. Braquenie fabric has been used as
                                                                a tablecloth, on top of which sits a lamp from Vaughan Lighting. [Left] The
                                                                William Yeoward mirror is an ideal place to keep Lizzie’s glasses. [Above]
                                                                The nuns on the bookcase are a souvenir from a trip to the South of France.
                                                                [Opposite] The kitchen is simple but brought to life with bold patterns,
                                                                including a strong red check picked up in the States, and the painterly bird
                                                                blind from a fabric sale 15 years ago. The stool, says Lizzie, was a “gift from a
                                                                lovely client”
