though, it was a close-run thing. I was born with little
patience but this job has taught me to wait – and wait
Rwe did, all through June and July, for the Scottish
summer to show its face. Weeks passed, grey and sodden, before
we could send our photographers out. But getting the ideal
conditions to shoot an outdoor scene is an unbeatable feeling. It’s a
waiting game. A game I’ve learned to play.
This time our road trip took us to the Borders, Perthshire and
Aberdeenshire, to gardens bursting with bright colour capped by
Woodburning and multi fuel stoves deep-blue sky. These are considered spaces but they show no lack
