(Click video) This video shows citizens of the Netherlands, Senegal,

Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States
suffering from excessive tourism development. They said that tourism
can damage Earth's resources, culture, and language. This video is

closely related to my public service poster which is about the loss of
our unique traditional culture by developing the tourism industry. My
poster name is ‘cage model in Korea’. With the development of the

tourism industry today, it not only makes economic development but
also offers a wide variety of sight-seeing opportunities for people. On
the other hand, it also pollutes our unique traditional culture. So, we

have to know that the rapidly developing tourism industry is a
double-edged sword through this public service poster. This is a
poster showing that people wear costumes that harmonize with red,

yellow, and black and they play our traditional musical instruments
which are called kkwaenggwari, janggu, and jing. around the palace.
Can you see that hand with the knife? That symbolizes the tourism

industries that change our traditional culture to attract far more
tourists. I wanted to use the circle line to symbolize cage. I was
inspired by the Korean Folk Village for making this poster. In the

past, the Korean Folk Village located in Yongin hired Mongolians to
deceive visitors as 'martial arts of riding horse which is called
Masangmuye(마상무예) of our tradition'. In short, we have been

watching Mongolian-style horse-riding, not ours. In addition, Hanbok,
a traditional Korean costume, is also becoming strange because of
                  modern Hanboks.

These are examples of the tourism industry pretending to embody our
traditional culture to attract a large number of tourists. I think that

modernization and globalization of traditional culture have a positive
effect of sharing and disseminating our culture with people around
the world, but reckless tourism development without considering our

special traditional culture is like 'damaging traditional culture identity'.
I'll end my presentation here. Thank you.
