at the Sebastian Cox kitchen, a collaboration between the
            designer and deVol, 020 3837 5909, devolkitchens.co.uk.
Using sustainable British wood and traditional craftsmanship,
the kitchen, from £10,000, is made from birch, ash and oak,
with copper hardware. An inky blue-black stain, as shown on
this free-standing cabinet, allows the timber’s natural texture
to show through, creating a simple, tactile fnish.
