 District Offices of   According to Articles 34 and 35 of the “Local Education Autonomy Act,” the Seoul Metropolitan
 Seoul Metropolitan   Office of Education runs 11 district offices, with up to three administrative districts under their
 Office of Education  respective jurisdiction, such as Dongbu, Seobu, Nambu, Bukbu, Jungbu, Gangdong-Songpa,
 Gangseo-Yangcheon, Gangnam-Seocho, Dongjak-Gwanak, Seongdong-Gwangjin, and Seongbuk-
               Seoul Science               The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education operates the Science Exhibition Center in
 Gangbuk. The District Offices carry out tasks delegated by the Superintendent related to education,
 the arts, and science conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education; guidance and   Exhibition of the Seoul    Nakseongdae and three affiliated exhibition centers (Namsan, Dongbu and Nambu). As the
