Ever feel like the hours just run away from you?
Rubinetterie Stella’s TimeAster collection of basin
bath and bidet taps, designed by architect Carlo Santi
and inspired by luxury watches, is a humorous observation
on the passing of time – as fast-flowing as water, it seems, if these
faucets are anything to go by. Constructed from etched brass, the
‘dials’ are protected via a process of rhodium-plating, similar to
that found in jewellery making. The taps come in gold, too: time is

TRUE BLUE

The unusual iridescent effect of Original Style’s Montblanc ceramic
wall tiles is the result of their specialised gloss finish, and the peacock
feather palette of the tiles makes for a rich, tactile feature wall or
a useful way to define zones within the bathroom (think shower
area). Currently on display at the North Berwick Bathroom & Tile
Company’s East Lothian showroom, Original Style’s collection also
includes a more neutral offering, as seen in the floor tiles above.
