How do you transport gantry cranes weighing 10,000 tons and measuring 125 meters in height over sea? A challenge for which KNTOTAL should prove to be successful in 2019. Goliath gantry cranes are the heart of shipyards. The largest of the shipyard cranes, they lift into place the massive assembly blocks that form the platform or hull of a ship. The importance of a Goliath crane cannot be overstated, as its lifting capacity determines the upper limits of a shipyard’s productivity. The greater a Goliath crane’s lifting capacity, the larger the hull blocks that the crane is capable of lifting.

06 : Commitment to Safe Delivery at Remote Land in Russia KNTOTAL was awarded a contract by Cargo Zone, who was a longtime partner and had maintained a strong tie in business, to transport 4,320cbm T/D press line in RUSSIA Togliatti. It was the same shipments that KNTOTAL had successfully transported in 2014 from Pyoungtaek of Korea to Togliatti and was the opportunity to prove itself to be a right solution provider as a logistics specialist. In completing a project for RUSSIA Togliatti 2,300T T/D Press Line, KNTOTAL proved itself to be the right specialized transport partner.

The operation had to be carefully planned due to the weight distribution and ballast had to be pumped from one side to the other during the loading and discharging operations in order to keep the barge on an even keel. Company workshop May 18 was Annual Company Picnic! Employees and their families came out and enjoyed food delivered from Busan’s famous Sushi restaurant and some good times hanging out with coworkers! Especially for this year’s workshop, Withlift-F joined us together and showed off solid friendships. Company Olympics continued through next day with the historic match of Korean style foot volley called Jokku. It was another fun spending time with coworkers and having some good times. Events ranged from visiting beautiful beach to Karaoke contest, to sports match. Congratulation on marriage!!
